Carrier contracting is a separate process from state licensing and is subject to each carrier's approval criteria, which may include credit, background, and prior insurance industry experience checks.
Heirstead does not guarantee that any applicant will be approved for contracting with any specific carrier.
3. Independent Contractor Status
All agents affiliated with Heirstead operate as independent contractors. Heirstead does not direct or control the manner in which agents conduct their business. Agents are solely responsible for their own licensing, taxes, expenses, and regulatory compliance.
